After over thirty years as an advanced skills teacher of Drama, English and Media, I am now a semi-retired freelance creative. So far this has involved being a Creative Producer for a local arts and heritage project; being lead artist and collaborator for J7C drama camps; volunteering for a national BCN campaign; tutoring GCSE English; proof-reading commissions; creating content online; creative writing spoken word events; some photographic modelling (including the semi-final of Face of London Runway) and diverse supporting artist work in film, video, and commercials. I have collaborated on several student film/video projects, which I find really enjoyable. I discovered that the director of one film was someone I had taught! In April I attended my first 'screening' at the UAL graduate film showcase; it was a nerve-wracking but inspiring experience. In July 2022 I was lucky enough to work with Afterstorm Productions on A Guardians Thorn, which is how I found out about this exciting local production company.
